Grid Items are used as part of the Matrix Workflows to control and record access to the main matrix networks.
Description Tab
The Description Tab is common to all Item sheets. Hovering over the text shows the Edit button, which brings up Foundry's standard ProseMirror editing tools, the same ones available when editing Journals. It provides a place to transcribe the rules from the sourcebooks for quick reference, include personal details of character elements, or jot down other gameplay noes.
The Grid Item sheet includes fields to record additional information:
- Visible indicates wether the grid shows up in the Mark Network dialog available from Actor's Matrix Tab.
- Category provides a selector to indicate what type[sr 1] of grid it is: Global, Local, or Public. It controls the number of dice the grid uses to resist Brute Force and Hack On The Fly attempts.[git 1]
WAN Tab
The WAN Tab tracks which Items are slaved to a Grid. Item types that represent a physical object, along with IC, Sprites, and Vehicles can be drag-and-dropped into a Grid's WAN Tab. Characters, or more accurately their Persona, are added via Matrix Workflows.
The Del button in the header removes all connected items.
