General Success Tests
For a simple success test style roll you have two options to quickly throw some dice: 1. Using the anonymous testing available behind the chat text field dice icon. 2. Using the actor specific testing available behind the dice icon in the actor sheet.
Both allow for the same functionality, however the actor specific testing will show the actor used in the chat card.
Item Actions/Preconfigured Item Success Tests
Most items allow to define a set of tests as an action, which can be triggered using the icon in the list views (gear, magic, ...).
Instead it's possible to only post the items description, data and actions as an item card using SHIFT+Click.
Skill Action/Skill Success Testing
All skill allow to quickly throw a success test by click it's name directly.
If you don't want to change any skill related values (attribute, limit, specialization) you can trigger a quick skill test by:
- SHIFT+Click => Directly go to the Skill Success Test
- CTRL+Click => Directly got to the Skill Success Test with a specialization
Configure Success Tests and Extended Tests
All success tests will bring up the same dialog allowing to review and configure all values influencing the dice pool, limit and more. Typically these are setup and only need to change according to possible environmental modifiers.
Extended Tests
The same dialog allows a Success Test to be repeated as a Extended test, which will keep bringing up the same Success Test dialog, with the repeated test modifier already applied.
Actions
Should a specific Success Test be needed often, simply create an action in the actor sheet for it. Actions function the same when created directly or add to other types of items (gear, magic, ...) and both can be added to the macro hotbar, when dragged onto it using Drag&Drop.
Healing Actions
Behind the damage track names preconfigured healing actions are available. These will be rolled as a extended test until manually stopped.
